Aurea is an Associate at Steer, responsible for delivering technical, traffic, and ESG due diligence services for M&A and PPP infrastructure projects worldwide. She is an experienced project manager in TDD and ESG due diligence assignments, with expertise in the development of O&M plans and cost modeling in the transportation sector. Aurea uses her knowledge and skills to inform clients about the risks associated with project finance transactions (cost, program, technical requirements) and provides effective solutions for risk management and mitigation.
Aurea is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s in Infrastructure Planning and Management and is professionally certified in Asset Management. She began her career providing lenders’ technical advisory services on major infrastructure PPPs globally at Infrata Ltd. and joined Steer in 2019 to further her career in transaction advisory.
Her recent experience includes serving as Project Manager for the TDD on the sale of Globalvia’s equity share. The transaction involved a portfolio of 27 road and tram projects across Spain, Portugal, the US, Ireland, Chile, and Costa Rica. The delivery required cross-office collaboration within Steer and close client engagement.
