Steer Davies Gleave ensures a top position at the infrastructure deals league

In January 2018, Inframation Deals released its project finance and league tables trend report for 2017 that captures over USD 437bn in activity, an industry best.
Globally, we are pleased to see Steer Davies Gleave ranking third in deal value in the technical advisory category. Steer Davies Gleave was technical advisor on 20 deals that reached financial close in 2017. The value of these transactions exceeded USD 16.2bn.

The table includes seven projects spread across Europe, North America, LATAM and East Africa; mainly road, car parks, rail and airports.
In the transport sector, within the top deals are the Channel Tunnel Rail link (HS1) sale and the M6 Toll road sale for USD 1.94bn and USD 1.79bn, respectively.

- Channel Tunnel Rail link (HS1) sale in the UK
- Scandlines Refinancing (2017), a ferry company in Denmark
- Athens International Airport Concession Extension in Greece
- Madagascar airports
