Steer wins Healthy Streets Proposal of the Year award 2019

We are delighted to win the Healthy Streets Proposal of the Year Award at the International Healthy Streets Summit 2019 for our work on the West Ealing Liveable Neighbourhood.

Steer has worked with Ealing Council (London Borough of Ealing and Transport for London to develop a vision and improvement strategy for West Ealing, providing a coherent and compelling approach with a suite of design interventions and feasibility designs.

The objectives for the project were to improve the public realm and accessibility to increase the number of people walking, using public transport and cycling, to, from and through West Ealing. Other important aims were to reduce crime levels and perceptions of crime, and reduce air pollution levels.
