Shivali is an Associate in our Commercial Advisory team and her main responsibility is to drive the energy transition agenda, with particular focus on engaging the public sector. With over 15 years of experience in the global energy market and infrastructure projects, she previously held senior roles at the DESNZ, Daikin UK Airconditioning Ltd, specialising in policy delivery, strategy, programme management, and business development.

Shivali has advised clients across the energy, health, and public sectors, providing strategic oversight and leading ambitious projects such as delivering the Energy Price Guarantee, managing the Manchester Smart Communities project and the Covid-19 vaccine transition programme.

Shivali has also played a key role in policy development, working with stakeholders like Ofgem, the Treasury, trade bodies, local authorities, and investors to drive market growth and innovation in the energy sector.

Shivali holds an engineering degree, an MBA in Finance and is qualified in MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), reflecting her commitment to professional development and leadership excellence. Shivaili is also a founder of the Public Sector District Heating Divas group. As a leader passionate about championing the next generation of talent and helping people achieve their full potential, she participates in mentoring schemes at DESNZ, Heat Network Divas group and in the Durham Alumni group.
