Associate Director Colin McNicol joins our team in Leeds

Steer is pleased to welcome Colin McNicol as our new Associate Director in the Leeds office. Colin has over 25 years’ experience in the feasibility and detailed design of structures and track, and project and stakeholder management in the rail sector.

Prior to joining Steer, Colin worked at Bonner Rail where he led the rail infrastructure design team, and previously at consultants GHD, CDL and Jacobs. He was also the External Interfaces Manager for the LUL Sub-Surface Railways upgrade, and designed rail underbridges for CTRL, now known as High Speed 1.

At Steer, Colin will contribute to the expansion of our strategic rail engineering service offer using his experience in infrastructure design and project delivery to identify and pursue opportunities within the UK and internationally.
